STEM Instruction for Early Childhood
Develop the skills to create engaging and effective STEM learning experiences for young children.
STEM Instruction for Early Childhood is a Graduate Certificate program designed for early childhood educators, teachers, and caregivers who want to integrate science, technology, engineering, and math concepts into their daily practice. This program focuses on developing a deep understanding of how children learn and develop in STEM contexts, and how to create learning environments that foster curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking.
Through a combination of online courses and in-person workshops, participants will learn how to design and implement STEM activities that align with state and national standards, and how to assess student learning and progress.
By the end of this program, participants will be able to:
design and implement STEM activities that promote deep learning and engagement
assess student learning and progress in STEM contexts
create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that values diversity and promotes equity
By joining this program, you will gain the knowledge, skills, and confidence to create a STEM-rich environment that prepares young children for success in an increasingly complex and interconnected world.
