Unit 2: Health and Safety Law and Regulations - This unit covers the key health and safety laws and regulations that apply to employers and employees, including the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 and the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999. •
Unit 3: Risk Assessment and Control - This unit focuses on the principles of risk assessment and control, including identifying hazards, assessing risks, and implementing control measures to mitigate risks. •
Unit 4: Health and Safety Policy and Procedures - This unit covers the development and implementation of a health and safety policy and procedures, including the importance of a safety culture and the role of employee involvement. •
Unit 5: Safety Management Systems (SMS) - This unit introduces the concept of a Safety Management System (SMS) and its application in occupational health and safety management, including the ISO 45001 standard. •
