Health and Safety Management Principles - This unit introduces students to the fundamental principles of health and safety management, including the importance of risk assessment, hazard identification, and the role of health and safety management in organizations. •
Risk Assessment and Control - This unit focuses on the process of risk assessment and control, including the identification of hazards, the assessment of risks, and the implementation of control measures to mitigate those risks. •
Health and Safety Law and Regulations - This unit covers the key health and safety laws and regulations that apply to organizations, including the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974, the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999, and the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations 2002. •
Health and Safety Management Systems - This unit introduces students to the concept of health and safety management systems, including the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and procedures to ensure the health and safety of employees and others. •
Occupational Health and Safety - This unit focuses on the role of occupational health and safety in preventing injuries, illnesses, and deaths in the workplace, including the provision of health and safety training and the management of health and safety records. •
