Unit 1: Introduction to Occupational Health and Safety (IOSH Management Standards) - This unit provides an overview of the importance of occupational health and safety, the role of the employer, and the management standards for a safe and healthy work environment. •
Unit 2: Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA) - This unit focuses on the process of identifying hazards and assessing risks in the workplace, including the use of risk assessment methods and the development of control measures. •
Unit 3: Health and Safety Law and Regulations (HSR) - This unit covers the key health and safety laws and regulations that apply to employers and employees, including the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 and the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999. •
Unit 4: Safety and Health Management Systems (SHMS) - This unit introduces the concept of a safety and health management system, including the development of policies, procedures, and records, and the role of the safety and health manager. •
Unit 5: Fire Safety and Prevention (FSP) - This unit focuses on the principles of fire safety and prevention, including fire risk assessment, fire prevention measures, and fire response procedures. •
