Computer Systems Security (RQF Level 4) - This unit introduces students to the fundamental principles of computer systems security, including threat and vulnerability management, risk assessment, and security policies. •
Networking Fundamentals (RQF Level 4) - This unit provides a comprehensive introduction to networking concepts, including network architecture, protocols, and devices, laying the foundation for more advanced networking topics. •
Cyber Security Fundamentals (RQF Level 4) - This unit covers the essential concepts of cyber security, including security threats, risk management, and security measures, providing a solid foundation for further study. •
Operating System Security (RQF Level 5) - This unit delves into the security features and mechanisms of operating systems, including access control, authentication, and encryption, and explores how to design and implement secure operating system configurations. •
Network Security Protocols (RQF Level 5) - This unit examines the security protocols used in networking, including firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and virtual private networks (VPNs), and discusses their implementation and configuration. •
