Unit 2: Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment - This unit teaches learners how to identify hazards, assess risks, and implement controls to mitigate or eliminate hazards in the workplace. •
Unit 3: Health and Safety Law and Regulations - This unit covers the key health and safety laws and regulations, including the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974, the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999, and the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations 2002. •
Unit 4: Safety Procedures and Emergency Response - This unit teaches learners how to respond to emergencies, including fires, accidents, and illnesses, and how to implement safety procedures to prevent accidents and injuries. •
Unit 5: Workplace Safety and Hygiene - This unit covers the importance of maintaining a safe and healthy work environment, including the control of noise, vibration, and other hazards, and the implementation of good hygiene practices. •
