Design and Planning for Construction (DPC) - This unit covers the fundamental principles of construction design, planning, and management, including site analysis, feasibility studies, and construction planning. •
Site Investigation and Geotechnical Engineering (SIGE) - This unit focuses on the importance of site investigation, geotechnical engineering, and the assessment of site conditions, including soil mechanics, rock mechanics, and groundwater. •
Structural Analysis and Design (SAD) - This unit covers the principles of structural analysis, including the use of finite element methods, and the design of structural elements, such as beams, columns, and frames. •
Construction Management and Control (CMC) - This unit covers the principles of construction management, including project planning, scheduling, cost control, and quality assurance, with a focus on the use of construction management software. •
Building Services and Environmental Engineering (BSEE) - This unit covers the design, installation, and maintenance of building services, including heating, ventilation, and air conditioning, as well as environmental engineering principles. •
