Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems (OHSMS) - This unit covers the principles and practices of implementing an effective OHSMS, including risk assessment, policy development, and continuous improvement. •
Workplace Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment - This unit focuses on the identification and assessment of workplace hazards, including the use of risk assessment techniques and the development of control measures. •
Health and Safety Law and Regulations - This unit covers the key health and safety laws and regulations that apply to the workplace, including the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 and the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999. •
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and Personal Protective Clothing (PPC) - This unit covers the selection, use, and maintenance of PPE and PPC, including the principles of personal protective equipment and the importance of proper fitting and maintenance. •
Fire Safety and Emergency Procedures - This unit covers the principles of fire safety, including fire risk assessment, fire prevention, and fire response, as well as emergency procedures such as evacuation and first aid. •
