Unit 2: Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment - This unit focuses on the process of identifying hazards and assessing risks in the workplace, including the use of risk assessment methods and the development of control measures. •
Unit 3: Health and Safety Law and Regulations - This unit covers the key health and safety laws and regulations that apply to workplaces, including the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 and the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999. •
Unit 4: Safety Management Systems (SMS) - This unit introduces the concept of safety management systems and their role in managing workplace safety, including the development of policies, procedures, and training programs. •
Unit 5: Occupational Health - This unit covers the principles of occupational health, including the importance of health surveillance, the management of work-related ill health, and the provision of health and safety training. •
