PSYH 3.1: Understand the principles of health and social care, including the importance of person-centred care, diversity, and inclusion, and the role of health and social care professionals in promoting health and wellbeing. •
PSYH 3.2: Understand the principles of effective communication in health and social care, including verbal and non-verbal communication, active listening, and the use of interpreters and translators. •
PSYH 3.3: Understand the principles of health and social care law, including the Human Rights Act, the Mental Capacity Act, and the Care Act, and the role of health and social care professionals in promoting the rights of service users. •
PSYH 3.4: Understand the principles of health and social care policy, including the role of government, local authorities, and other stakeholders in shaping health and social care policy, and the impact of policy on service users. •
PSYH 3.5: Understand the principles of health and social care practice, including the importance of assessment, planning, and evaluation, and the role of health and social care professionals in promoting health and wellbeing. •
