It is essential for students to understand the key concepts of contract law, as it is a fundamental aspect of the law of obligations. • Tort Law: This unit explores the principles of tort law, including negligence, duty of care, and liability. Students will learn about the different types of torts, such as personal injury and property damage, and how to analyze and apply the law in different scenarios. • Land Law: This unit covers the principles of land law, including property ownership, tenancy, and leasehold. Students will learn about the different types of land tenure, including freehold and leasehold, and how to analyze and apply the law in different scenarios. • Equity and Trusts: This unit explores the principles of equity and trusts, including the nature of equity, trusts, and the role of the trustee. Students will learn about the different types of trusts, such as express trusts and resulting trusts, and how to analyze and apply the law in different scenarios. • Human Rights Law: This unit covers the principles of human rights law, including the European Convention on Human Rights and the Human Rights Act 1998.
