Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems (OHSMS) - This unit covers the principles and practices of OHSMS, including the planning, implementation, and maintenance of an effective OHSMS. •
Health and Safety Law and Regulations - This unit focuses on the legal framework governing health and safety in the workplace, including the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 and the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999. •
Workplace Health and Safety Risks - This unit explores the various types of workplace health and safety risks, including physical, psychological, and biological hazards, and the measures that can be taken to mitigate them. •
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and Personal Protective Clothing (PPC) - This unit covers the selection, use, and maintenance of PPE and PPC, including the principles of risk assessment and the selection of suitable PPE. •
