Supply Chain Management: This unit introduces the fundamental concepts of supply chain management, including the definition, scope, and importance of supply chain management in logistics and supply chain management. It covers the different stages of the supply chain, including sourcing, production, transportation, inventory management, and returns. •
Logistics and Transportation Management: This unit focuses on the planning, coordination, and execution of the movement of goods, products, and resources from one place to another. It covers the different modes of transportation, including road, air, sea, and rail, as well as the various logistics services, such as warehousing and freight forwarding. •
Inventory Management: This unit deals with the planning, control, and optimization of inventory levels to meet customer demand and minimize costs. It covers the different inventory management techniques, including just-in-time (JIT) inventory management, inventory turnover, and the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) model. •
Procurement and Sourcing: This unit focuses on the process of acquiring goods, services, and works from external suppliers.
