Unit 1: Introduction to IOSH - Overview of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health, IOSH qualifications, and the importance of health and safety in the workplace. •
Unit 2: Health and Safety Law - Overview of the main health and safety laws and regulations, including the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974, and the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999. •
Unit 3: Risk Assessment - Understanding the principles of risk assessment, identifying hazards, and evaluating risks to ensure a safe working environment. •
Unit 4: Safety Procedures and Protocols - Learning about standard safety procedures and protocols, such as fire safety, first aid, and emergency response plans. •
Unit 5: Health and Safety Management Systems - Understanding the importance of health and safety management systems, including the development and implementation of policies and procedures. •
Unit 6: Workplace Safety and Hygiene - Learning about workplace safety and hygiene practices, including the control of noise, vibration, and other environmental hazards. •
