Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems (OHSMS) - This unit introduces the concept of OHSMS, its importance, and the benefits of implementing a systematic approach to managing health and safety in the workplace. •
Health and Safety Law and Regulations - This unit covers the key health and safety laws and regulations that apply to occupational health and safety management, including the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 and the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999. •
Risk Assessment and Control - This unit focuses on the principles and techniques of risk assessment and control, including the identification, evaluation, and mitigation of risks to health and safety. •
Health and Safety Policy and Procedure Development - This unit covers the development of health and safety policies and procedures, including the creation of a health and safety policy statement, risk assessments, and emergency procedures. •
