• Use accounting software to process financial transactions
• Maintain and reconcile the cash book
• Process ledger transactions and extract a trial balance
• Prepare and post journal entries
• Maintain control accounts and reconcile balances
• Prepare and process invoices and credit notes
• Prepare and process payment documents
• Prepare and process VAT returns
• Produce reports using accounting software
• Understand the principles of double-entry bookkeeping

Assessment

The assessment is done via submission of assignment. There are no written exams.
