• Understand the principles and practices of teaching learners with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)
• Promote equality, diversity, and inclusion in education for learners with SEND
• Support the assessment and planning process for learners with SEND
• Implement strategies to support learners with communication and interaction needs
• Develop and implement strategies to support learners with cognition and learning needs
• Implement strategies to support learners with social, emotional, and mental health needs
• Implement strategies to support learners with sensory and/or physical needs
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of support provided to learners with SEND
• Collaborate with other professionals to support learners with SEND
• Reflect on and improve own practice in teaching learners with SEND

Assessment

The assessment is done via submission of assignment. There are no written exams.
